As part of the Good Fulton Farrell Master Plan for Texas A&M University System’s new campus in Killeen, TX, focusEGD was engaged to develop a family of signage as part of the Master Plan. The initial scope included the design and development of the signage and writing and documenting the signage portion in the campus master plan.

In the second engagement, we implemented Phase I of the plan, complete with interior signage for the first building. The design called for a contemporary interpretation of hill country and WPA aesthetics found in the region. Sloped roofs, use of stone and a type face selection inspired by WPA plaques influences the design.
